| The
invite had been issued by the four members of the newly created "Western
Chapter" to join them in a run to Oconnell, just over the mountains
about midway between Bathurst and Orange. Our thanks are passed to Julie and Dave Richardson and Maria and Neil "Ace" Matthews for arranging the day and making us feel most welcome. By the time we sat down for afternoon tea in the quiet rural setting at the home of Dave and Julie, there were about 25 Mustangs plus a further 5 other vehicles who had enjoyed the trip. |

Catch
up at McDonalds Eastern Creek for the trip over the Mountains, Arrive
at Lithgow for pit stop, join more members and final instructions before
taking the scenic route to Oconnell.
There is not much better than the friendlieness of a country pub unless it is full of MOCA members with their ponies out the front ... The country tucker was grand, the weather terrific, the company exceptional and the drive blew away the cobwebs ... Dave welcomed us into his home with his infectious grin whilst riding the Mustang ... disguised as a Husqvarna? |
